Finally time to part with my 1988 bj74. It has been a weekend driver for me and I have kept it in the garage. The BJ in the name of this cruiser designates it as having a b-series engine and a heavy duty chassis/suspension designed with durability and off roading in mind. The LJ series cruisers have L series engines (with common head problems)and have a light duty frame. Removable FRP (fiber reinforsed plastic) top. This Land Cruiser was never offered in North America and this particular one was originally sold in Japan. Right hand drive (my wife can drive it without a hitch). The 70 series cruisers were the follow up to the classic 40 series.
